Ganesha Idol rally held at various places in Erode

Hindu Munnani arranged Ganesha Idol poojas in various public places in the district. 
Following this, Ganesha idols procession took place at various places in the district on Friday. 
The idols were taken in 40 decorated vehicles like tractors, vans and autos from Sathy SRT Corner on Coimbatore Road.  

The procession left from there at 4.30 pm and the Hindu Front state speaker Singhai Prabhakaran spoke on the platform there.  After that the idols were taken to river Bhavani and immersed there Erode SP Sashimohan, Additional SP Janakiraman, Sathy DSP Chandrasekhar and Tamil Nadu Special Task Force, 525 cops engaged in security duty. 

Similarly, 20 Ganesha idols were taken in a procession at Kodumudi and immersed in the  Cauvery river in front of the Magudeswarar temple. 27 Ganesha idols were consecrated by Hindu Front in Arachalur.  
CK Saraswathi MLA and State Agriculture Team Vice President D. Thangaraj flagged off the idol procession. 
In Anthiyur and Vellithiruppur more than 25  idols were consecrated.
