Governor awards degree certificates to 1,010 candidates

Governor R.N. Ravi awarded doctoral, post graduate, and undergraduate degrees, and diplomas to 1010 candidates at the 85-th convocation of Annamalai University.
Minister for Higher Education K.Ponmudy Vice-Chancellor RM.Kathiresan, and Registrar (i/c) Singaravel were present. 
In his speech, Project Director of Chandrayaan-3, (ISRO), P. Veeramuthuvel called upon students to dream big, aim high and take calculated risk. 
He explained the Chandrayaan-3 project to achieve its mission objectives. Stating that energy, water, environmental control and climate change require immediate attention, he said that all problems have to be solved with sustainable development goals in 
mind. 
The younger generation must play a crucial role in realising the country's aspirations of  achieving technology leadership, he said.
