Govt Sports Hostel Girls bag Kongu Trophy in Football

Namakkal district government sports hostel girls won Kongu Trophy   in football in the inter school competition arranged by the Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode at the college. In the three day 7th state level sports meet for Kongu Trophy in kabaddi, basketball, handball, football, began on Friday, more than 140 teams from 
schools of all over the state participated. 

The meet was inaugurated by college Correspondent Palaniswami and Principal Dr. N. Raman. At the valedictory, held on Sunday, the chief guest Bharathiar University Director of Physical Education Dr S.T.N. Rajaswaran gave away prizes to the winners and congratulated them in the presence of College Trustee Krishnan, Palaniswami,  N. Raman and College director of physical education Dr. A. Shankar.

MEN'S DIVISION: Volleyball:  1. Don Bosco, Chennai.  Basketball: National HSS, Mannargudi. Kabaddi: SM HSS, Tiruchi.
