Over 10000 get book enthusiasts certificate

Over 10000 people especially  students got book enthusiasts certificates from the Makkal Sindhanai Peravai at the ongoing 18th Erode Book Festival since the beginning of the fair at the Erode CN College on August 5.

From the 2nd year of book fair itself, the Peravai announced distribution of such certificates to people who buy books up-to the cost of Rs 250. It encouraged many students to buy more books and get the certificates in order to show it to their teachers and parents. ''The aim of giving the certificate is to encourage the reading habit of people and also make it memorable for their visit to the fair,'' said Peravai president T Stalin Gunasekaran.
