Graduation Day at Kongunadu Arts And Science College

The 14th Graduation Day of Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous) was held on 15 July 2022 in the college. Around 1910 graduates received their degrees.  Dr.C.A.Vasuki, Secretary and Director, welcomed the gathering and congratulated the graduates in receiving their degrees from an institution which is celebrating its Golden Jubliee year.

Dr.M.Lekshmanaswany, Principal, said the college which had progressed to the status of College of Excellence given by the UGC, attaining good position in the MHRD ranking.The chief guest Dr. (Mrs) Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, highlighted the importance of New Educational Policy (NEP) which treats students as kings and helps students to create their own destiny by choosing what to learn, where to learn and how to learn without spending any penny.

It also creates varied platform for teachers to decide what to teach, how to teach and how to access the progress of the students. She encouraged students to ask more questions and find solutions. She enumerated on Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) which in future would be contributingto achieve the demographic dividend. She suggested to apply for the deemed to be University status for the college. Dr. T. Muraleeswari, former Principal of the college distributed the degree certificates.
