Housing Minister inaugurates signature campaign against NEET

Housing Minister S Muthusamy inaugurated the signature campaign to ban NEET at a function organized by the youth, students and medical wings. 
He said as against the target of collecting 50 lakh signature in a memorandum within 50 days, it would reach upto 1 cr due to the wrath of the people against NEET. 
The target of the district is 1 lakh signature. The memorandum will be sent to the President to give her consent to the bill passed in the Assembly against NEET. 
He said previously 85 percent of Medical seats were filled by the state government on the basis of plus 2 marks while 15 percent of seats were surrendered to the Centre which could allot the seats to students of all states. 
Now, in the name of NEET, the Centre usurped the power of the state government and paved a way for students of other states to get seats in our state, affecting the chance of our students. 
So, we oppose the NEET which snatched the lives of 20 students so far. So, we should all oppose NEET and create a people's movement against NEET. 
The wing functionaries Prakash, Thiruvasagam, Dr Vivek, DMK maanagar secretary M Subramaniam, deputy mayor Selvaraj and many others  attended the function.
