Idol immersion Rally at Gobi

A procession of Ganesha idols took place in Gobi. On the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi, the Hindu Front kept Ganesha idols at various places in Gobi  and conducted special worships. Due to this, more than 30 Ganesha idols placed in Gobi area were brought to Gobi Nayakkankadu area. 

Then the idols were taken in a procession from there. The procession of idols starts from Gobi to bus stand, market, bazaar street, Vaikal Road and reached Thadapalli Canal where the Ganesha idols were immersed there. On this occasion, under the leadership of SP Sashimohan, 350 policemen including one Additional SP  one DSP, 7 Inspectors, 20 Sub-Inspectors were engaged in security.
