Income Tax Day celebrated

Kongu Arts and Science College observed Income Tax Day to promote financial awareness among the students. Income Tax Officer Atul Kumar, chief guest, emphasized  the importance of filing tax returns for nation's progress. The Income Tax Officers R. Manoharan and R. Sampath, answered questions about income tax and financial planning, simplifying complex concepts. D.Kisshore, III B.Com(CA) , student asked about the implications of recent tax reforms on the farm sector. Students gained practical knowledge about tax compliance and financial planning in the event.

EDC MEETING: Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Department of Business Administration of Kongu Arts and Science College jointly organized a Guest Lecture on "Entrepreneurship as a Career". Chief guest - Lion Dr. Viswanathan, Industrialist, Managing Director, GMAC Associates, Coimbatore, delivered a motivational talk on self- confidence, perseverance, need for continuous learning in life and its impacts on entrepreneurship. Nearly 350 students participated and benefited out of the session.
