International Day of Elderly Program held at JOGO

As  October 1 is celebrated as International Day of Older Persons all over the world JOGO which runs a program for senior citizens observed the day with special programmes.

JOGO's  Vice President of Clinical Operations Mr. Shyam, with the help of Coordinator Mr.Aswin, visited Sri Sankara Aged Care Centre run by Sri Kanchi Kamakodi Peedam in Chromepet and Sevalaya in Thiruninravur.
Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Vivek explained the reasons for ‘Fall’ in elderly. He also explained about the effects of such a fall and what exercises should be done to avoid fall in elderly. More than one hundred and fifty seniors were trained in one day. 

The JOGO GoodLife program sensitised the common health problems to the inmates of the ‘Home’ thereby also fulfilling a moral responsibility to the society.
