The Department of Commerce (CA), Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode conducted millet contests under the theme ‘Millets for Health’ for the students to celebrate the International Year of Millets. The aim of the Programme was to create awareness and highlight the benefits of the nutritional value of millets. Students actively participated in various events like Millets Master Chef Challenge, Flameless Feats, From seed to plate: The Millet Journey, Millets Marvels and came up with creative recipes, posters, Slide presentation emphasizing the nutritional value of millet for healthy living. The Correspondent P.D.Thangavel and Principal, Dr.N.Raman appreciated for arranging such programmes.
