Intl conference at Avinasilingam institute

''Learn to Learn in this era of ChatGPT”, emphasised by Professor of Practice at International Conference at Avinashilingam School of Engineering International Conference on Emerging Trends in Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Concepts was inaugurated at the School of Engineering, Avinashilingam Institute for Women on Feb 24 and the conference proceedings with over 160 peer reviewed full papers on various themes of the conference was released.

Inaugurating the conference, the Chancellor Prof. S.P.Thyagarajan, highlighted the four industrial eras and stressed the importance of education which also has evolved through these four eras and is now in Education 4.0 version. The Chief Guest Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe, Professor of Practice, Design, IIT, Gandhinagar, in his Keynote, said that technology including the recent ChatGPT, have made learning easy, but one must ‘learn to learn – i.e., know how to learn, where to learn and what to learn’. 

 Each author was given 10 minutes for the paper presentation, which was followed by question and answer session for 5 minutes. The conference was structured to foster discussion between participants.
