Journalists Welfare Board Concessions will be announced soon in Erode

The press welfare board benefits will be announced soon, said the Minister of Publicity, MP Swaminathan, in his interview after paying tribute to Kumaran film at Kumaran House.Meetings have been held in which some resolutions have been passed and it has been sent to the attention of the Chief Minister.Soon the plans for the welfare of journalists will be announced by the board.

Government land is scarce in Chennimalai area and private land is expensive, so there is a problem in building a house for the weavers, but the government is taking steps to help them.

He said that steps will be taken according to the existing financial situation of the government and the demands of unorganized workers including increase in pension will be fulfilled gradually as mentioned in the election promise.
