Kantakala organizes 2 days exhibition in Coimbatore

Kankatala, a boutique known for its unique sarees, is organizing a two-day-long special exhibition at The Residency Tower in the city from Thursday between 10 am and 8 pm.Each saree displayed at the exhibition was hand-woven for women who want something unique and timeless. On the display would be Kanjivaram silks, Paithanis, Banarasis, Khadis, Kotas, Organzas, Uppadas, Kotas, Jamdanis and Ikats among others.

The boutique’s director Anirudh Kankatala said, “As every woman who understands sarees knows, we at Kankatala are extremely proud of our exclusive pieces.  Each one of them has been exclusively woven to perfection, seamlessly blending the classic opulence of Kanjivarams and the royal grandeur of Patan Patolas with the colorful vivacity of Bandhani techniques.

”He said, “We can proudly declare that each piece in our collection are not just sarees but works of art. ”Established in 1943, the  boutique is known for its hand-picked and hand-woven sarees and has branches across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and New Delhi. They are now available for a limited period in Coimbatore.
