KEC Alumni Trust helps Student's studies

Kongu Engineering College (KEC) Alumni Trust provides fund for a student's education. 1989 BE passed out batch Alumni of KEC formed a Welfare Trust namely KEC 1985 to 1989 Engineers Welfare Trust and were doing many social welfare activities such as planting saplings, cyclone recovery activities, corona relief activities, providing education fees for needy students etc.  

The trust provided an amount of Rs.50,000/- for educational expenditure to a  student of KEC, who is studying from a weak economic background. 

On behalf of the Trust, Sekaran, Singaravelan, Arunmozhi, Bathrinath, Balaji and Saravanan handed over the amount to Dr.V.Balusamy, Principal, KEC. Dr.P.S.Kothai, HoD-Civil Engineering and the members of faculty were present during the event.
