Toilets constructed for female students at the Government Arts College in Coimbatore, costing Rs. 33.50 lakhs, were inaugurated by the Krisha Trust, funded through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited.
The inauguration ceremony took place today and was attended by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, who also delivered a speech.
Srinivasan, the Chairman of Emerald Jewel Industry Company and Executive Trustee of the Krisha Foundation, spoke to the students about the various social development projects undertaken by the
Foundation.
He encouraged the students to focus on their studies and to consider engaging in social work in the future.
The event saw participation from the Principal of Government Arts College, Ezhili, officials from Emerald Jewel Industry, college professors, and many students.
