Lamp lighting Ceremony at Ganga College Of Nursing

The lamp lighting ceremony for the BSc Nursing & GNM students of Ganga College of Nursing, Coimbatore was held on July 6 at  the College.Rama Rajasekaran, Managing Trustee of the college 
welcomed.

 The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students entry into the Nursing profession. Students lit this lamp as a commitment, and they recited the Nursing pledge of the service. A total of 80 Novice Nurses  received the light from the  Guest of Honour Ms. Shirley Prakash, Principal,West Fort College of Nursing, Thrissur along with  Dr Esther John -Dean cum Principal, of the college. Prof. JebaKumari, Vice Principal of the college administered the pledge to 100 allied  health science students.
 

The chief guest, Dr. Nirmala, Dean, Coimbatore Medical College & Hospital  in her address 
stressed the selfless service that every nurse should possess in their profession. The  guest of Honour, Ms. Shirley Prakash, in her address to the gathering applauded the students for choosing the nursing profession. Dr Esther John, Dean cum Principal, of the college Coimbatore proposed a vote of thanks.
