The city-based JD Education and Maya academy distributed prizes to the best creators in various competitions including short film direction, digital painting, photography and reel making during an event organized at Hindustan college premises in the city. Maya academy of advanced cinematics has been training students in modern 3G animation and visuals by roping in experts.
It has branches in several cities including Coimbatore. To encourage students, the academy had organized various competitions. The event was presided over by the academy’s CEO Samjith Dhanraj. Hindustan educational trust’s administrative trustee Saraswathi, college principal Ponnusamy and SNR college principal Sivakumar attended the event.
‘Neeya Naana’ fame Gopinath attended the event as chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering, Gopinath said, “There are a lot of opportunities in fields related to animation and visuals and if students manage to make use of the opportunities, they will achieve greater heights.” Zonal manager of the academy Prem Raja and others participated in the event.
