Mangalam Turmeric Powder Plant to be modernized: Coop Secretary Radhakrishnan

Food and Cooperative Department Secretary Radhakrishnan said that necessary steps will be taken to modernize the turmeric powder manufacturing plant to increase the sales of 
Mangalam Turmeric Powder produced in the Erode Agricultural Producers Cooperative and Marketing Society. 
He then told the reporters that the turmeric powder produced by the society is sold to many places and steps will be taken to increase its sales and other food spices 
produced through this association. Generally, Erode turmeric is world famous. 
Even when I visited Nashik in Maharashtra, they mentioned Erode turmeric. 
Appropriate steps will be taken to increase the sale of this turmeric globally. 
Adequate quantities of wheat are sent to ration shops so there is no chance of shortages which sometimes occur during trucking. 
He said that the smuggling of ration rice this year has reduced significantly as compared to last year due to the steps taken by the government, he added.
