Many apply for KMUT

In the Erode Corporation 4th zone public grievance meeting was held in the Amman marriage hall (58th ward) near 4th zone office, Sasthri Nagar Erode on Sunday. The zonal office president Kurinji Dandapani presided. He said that the government has issued a GO to hold the grievance redressal meeting in all zones 4 time in a year and also a meeting on Voters Day on Jan 25. Today 60 petitions were received and most of them were related to Mahalir Urimai Thogai (KMUT) Thittam. In 58th ward, over Rs 2.60 cr was spent to improve civic amenities in it. The present meeting was for all 15 wards in the zone. Mayor Nagarathinam Subramaniam, Assistant commissioner Krishnamurti, many councillors and officials attended the meeting.
