Market of India conducts Family Mela

Market of India, (MOI) SPR India’s mega wholesale market project, played host to the first ever Family Mela – two back-to-back evenings dedicated to magic, laughter, contests and much more on Saturday and Sunday, February 11 and 12, 2023 at the project premises.

Beginning at 4 pm on both days, the MOI Family Mela which had free entry for everyone with 125 stalls had over 16,500 visitors participating in and enjoying themselves over two evenings in a host of fun filled activities, including, games, contests with attractive prices and a music show at the day’s end.

Champion and Guinness

The two-day mela had a lively music show at the end of each day. “On the streets of Chennai” and Malavika and Srinivas of Super Singer fame regaled the audience with several foot thumping numbers. There was a live performance by Vaishnavi, a young yoga champion and Guinness world record holder that held the audience enthralled.

Activities for visitors included balloon castles, balloon shooting, bowling, giant dart boards, foosball, bull rides, and much more. Family Mela was conducted to give a real time prelude of how business at Market of India is going to be, according to a press note by the event organisors.
