Maths training for PU school kids

Department of Mathematics of Kongu Arts and Science College carried out an extension activity under the DBT Star College Scheme “Basic Calculation  Through Abacus” for the students of Panchayat Union Primary School, Pichandapalayam.

 The school students were trained with Math calculation using Abacus and Basic mathematics with mathematical models and Charts by the students of the Department of Mathematics. Through this training, the mathematical ability and memory of school students are improved. Mathematical models, Charts of National leaders and Stationary items were provided for the students.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the Correspondent Thiru P.D. Thangavel and Principal Dr.N.Raman. Head of Mathematics Department Dr. S.Nagarajan, Professors and students participated in the event.
