On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the Adiyogi Ratham, which left Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, reached Erode. It was inaugurated by Mayor S. Nagarathinam.
This year the Mahashivaratri festival is going to be held in a grand manner at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on the 8th of March. The Adiyogi Ratha Yatra is organized by Then Kailaya Bhakthi Peravai to invite devotees from all over Tamil Nadu to participate in this festival.
This Ratha Yatra was inaugurated by Perur Adheenam at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on 5th of January. A ratham that started from there reached Erode on Jan 10.
The ratham will travel to different parts of Gobichettipalayam until January 16.
Earlier on January 5, 4 Adiyogi Rathams left from Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore to travel a distance of 15,000 to 20,000 km in all 4 directions of Tamil Nadu. Devotees and the public in every district receiving Adiyogi by offering flowers, fruits and aarti. Each ratham travels in different directions and traverses all the districts and then reaches the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on the day of Maha Shivratri. This Ratha Yatra is an opportunity for people who cannot visit Adiyogi in person to visit him in their own places.
