Minister supports TET qualified Teachers demands

School education minister Anbil Makesh Poyyamozhi said as the demands of TET qualified teachers were genuine, they would be taken to the attention of the CM.

Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi yesterday visited the Erode Book Festival and visited the illam Thedi Kalvi stall.

Later he said in an interview to the reporters: Puthaga Poongothu project was brought by late CM Karunanidhi.

We are trying to implement it again in a good way.  800 doctors have been appointed to provide mental health counseling to students in 413 Unions.

Since mental health counseling is important for students, doctors are going to visit each school once in 3 months to give counseling.  Common examinations will be conducted for SSLC, Plus-1 and Plus-2 classes as usual.

The demands of teachers, qualified in TET are reasonable. We have valued their sentiments and brought it to the attention of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. In the last 10 years Tamil Nadu has not taken proper action to prevent drug addiction.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister ordered to control the use of drug abuse. Accordingly, the drug Prevention Awareness Week is observed from  August 12th to 19th by education,  police, social welfare departments.
Earlier, he visited the Periyar-Anna Memorial  in Erode and garlanded the statues of Periyar and Anna.
