Monitoring Officer inspects Erode GH

The District Monitoring Officer and Commissioner (Department of Archives and Historical Research)  
G.Prakash inspected the ongoing construction work of a multi-purpose hospital building at the Erode Government Hospital on Wednesday.

Later, he told reporters a Monitoring Officer has been appointed in each district to monitor the progress of various development projects.  I have come to Erode district for the second time now. I first came during the flood situation. A review meeting was held yesterday regarding development work in various sectors. Following that the multi-purpose building works being carried out in the premises of the hospital and the works of two model schools in Erode district were also scrutinized. 

What are the requirements and what are the difficulties are studied. Following this, a report will be submitted to the government every month on the problems and action taken. He said that he heard the grievances of the contract workers. During this inspection various officials including Joint Director Health Services Prema Kumari, Hospital Superintendent Venkatesh, Corporation City Health Officer Dr. Prakash were present.
