Muthusamy pooh poohs EPS's charge

Housing Minister S Muthusamy denied AIADMK chief EPS 's charge that Athikadavu-Avinasi project was deliberately withheld by present rule. In his campaign at Erode Suriyampalayan on Saturday, he said that the scheme was left incompleted by previous AIADMK rule and only he took steps to complete it before Feb 15 to sort out all technical issues.

Similarly, Uratchikottai drinking water scheme was launched by previous rule with having many technical flaws. That were also being sorted out step by step. Of 505 poll promises, over 70 per cent were fulfilled and the CM would fulfil the rest step by step. But,  apart from such schemes,  many welfare schemes were enforced by CM, he noted.
