Nandha's marathon will be held on June 14

Nandha educational institutions and its NGO-Manitham-will hold a marathon in connection with the World Blood Donation day and also hold a blood donation camp at Erode on June 14, said the institution chairman V Shanmugan. He said the marathon will be held for both men and women above 15 years of age at 5.30 am from VOC ground. The marathon of men will be for a distance of 21 km upto the Nandha College of Technology, Vaikkalmedu and women for 10 km till Nandha Central School, Teacher's Colony, Erode. I prize of Rs 20000, II prize Rs 10000, III  prize Rs 5000, IV, V prize Rs 2000 and VI to X prize of Rs 1000 will be given at the auditorium of Nandha Engineering College.

 In the blood donation camp, 300 students of Nandha educational institutions will donate blood at the Nandha Medical College. Interested persons can register their names in the website of the college to take part in the marathon. Around 2000 are expected to participate in the marathon, he added.
