JSS college of pharmacy has organized the National happiness yatra 2022 at its college premises in Ooty on Tuesday. In his welcoming address, principal of the college SP Dhanabal explained to the students about the importance of happiness in day-to-day life, while MJN Chandrasekar, head of JSS school of life sciences emphasized the importance of happiness with global scenarios.
R Vadivelan, professor and coordinator of Your Own Life (YOL) programme briefed the students about happiness at education in the campus and various tribes, IQ, EQ in YOL application. Anjali Verma, director of training and engagement, YOL spoke about the happiness program and happiness unicorn awards at various institutes in the country and the need for happiness for students to lead academic life without stress.
Yogesh Kocchar, founder of YOL gave an introduction on happiness, six sigmas of happiness, block chain and happiness token. In his speech, he motivated the students positively and emphasized on advantages and disadvantages of social media.
As many as 12 student ambassadors from the colleges were facilitated during the program. More than 250 students from various courses attended the program. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Rita N Kutty, assistant professor, JSS School of Life Sciences.
