National Science Day celebration in Avinashilingam Institute

The National Science Day 2025 was celebrated in Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore with Welcome address by Dr.G.Padmavathi, Dean, School of Physical Sciences and Computational Sciences. 
The Theme for this Science Day Celebration is “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat: An Indian Knowledge System Perspective”. 
The Special Address was given by Dr. V.Bharathi Harishankar, Vice Chancellor. The Science Day Address was given by A.V. Balasubramanian, Director, Center for Indian Knowledge System, Chennai.
In connection with the Science Day celebrations various competitions were held. 
Dr.Anitha Subash, Dean, School of BioSciences, proposed the vote of thanks. 
A total of 12 innovative ideas by the students were exhibited and was highly appreciated by the guests.
The National Science Day celebrations 2025 was organized by the conveners Dr. N. Valliammal, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, and Dr. M. Gowri, Associate Professor, Department of 
Chemistry.
