New post office opened at Cheranmaanagar

A new post office – Cheranmaanagar 641 051 – under Coimbatore postal division of Tamil Nadu circle was inaugurated by S Brinda, headmistress of government higher secondary school near Vilankurichi in the city. K Gopalan, senior superintendent of post offices, Coimbatore 641 01 presided over the inaugural function in the presence of Sundarrajan, secretary of Cheramaanagar Veetu Urimaiyalargal and Kudiyiruppu nala sangam.

All postal facilities including booking and delivery of all kinds of postal articles, financial transactions will be available. This post office would not only cater to the needs of the public of that locality but also the floating population due to the development of many residential areas in and around the area.
