NSS cadres serve in Ramabayulur village

National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, (BIT) Sathyamangalam organised a 7- day special camp from April 1to 7 as per the guidelines of Anna University under the theme “Valamana Gramangalae vallimaiyana Bharatham” at Ramabayulur village, near Sathy. 

The camp was commenced with 125 volunteers and going successfully under the guidance of NSS Program Officers Dr V N Vijayakumar, Dr R Praveena and Assistant Program Officer Dr C Kavitha.

 The volunteers taught various lessons to students of local school, presented an education video and conducted games.

 For the villagers,  they  demonstrated the process of soap making, asthma and cough syrup preparation,  conducted a survey on students and locals needs and their expectations, literacy level, village needs. 

They involved in school campus cleaning, scrubbing, painting works, construction of a rest room etc.
