ONAM Workshop provides essential artistic learnings for children

27 children participated in a free Onam themed art painting workshop at Nageswara Rao Park, sponsored by Sundaram Finance. The workshop, led by Shreya Suraj, founder of "Anybody Can Draw," allowed children aged 8 to 12 to express their creativity by painting wooden coasters with an Onam theme. The session showcased their connection to nature, showcasing the iconic smiling Kathakali face and intricate Decoupage design. The session also taught valuable lessons about the significance of Onam and the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. Suraj has over 250 art workshops for children, adults, children with special needs, and cancer survivors in the past decade. She believes in sustainable art and believes art can be done on any surface without expensive tools.
