‘One India, One Licence’ scheme should be introduced : COAREA President Sivakumar

The union government should introduce the ‘One India, One Licence’ 
scheme in the real estate sector and bring in a uniform system to overcome the difficulties, said Sivakumar, president of Coimbatore association of realtors (COAREA).  

He spoke to media persons after participating in the tenth anniversary celebration of the 
association that took place at Race course in the city. During the event, the logo of the association was released before informing the gatherings about the functions of the association. 

The president thanked the Tamil Nadu government for approving all their applications without delay and urged the government to take steps to reduce the house registration fees and regulate the apartment registration process. “Apart from reducing the GST for the sector, the union government 
should also bring in ‘One India, One Licence’ scheme for the sector,” he added. 

The association that is active in 45 districts has about 30,000 members. Founding president Jayaraman, Vice president Venkatesan, Secretary Prateesh, joint secretary Mohan, treasures Ramesh Gopalakrishnan and other office-bearers participated in the event.
