Over 1000 students participate in SIMATS state level inter-engineering tournament

SIMATS School of Engineering (SSE) organized its CHAKRA 2022 – A State Level Inter Engineering tournament from October 27 to 29, 2022

In the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chadaram Shivaji, Director - SIMATS School of Engineering Dr. Ramya Deepak, Principal of SSE Dr. B. Ramesh, and other principals of 
SIMATS constituent colleges, Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan, Founder and Chancellor of SIMATS, inaugurated and declared the CHAKRA 2022 officially open. 

 During the tournament, over 1000 student and faculty participants participated enthusiastically in various sports such as Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Throwball, and Badminton. Participants from various colleges in Tamil Nadu thanked SSE for organizing such activities for the holistic development of students and faculty. Mr. Valveemaraja, Dean Sports of SIMATS, with assistance from the SIMATS Saveetha 
School of Physical Education organised the event.
