Over 1800 people participated in Elgi’s equipment #whatsyourfinishline challenge

More than 1800 staff and distributors from several parts of the world participated in Elgi equipment’s 21-day-long challenge #whatsyourfinishline.  The fourth edition of the annual challenge which culminated on November 6, aimed at improving overall wellness, spread awareness about physical fitness and mental well-being and emphasized the need for a healthy lifestyle.  

As many as 1874 participants from 27 countries were divided into 124 teams clocked over 85,648 miles running, walking or jogging. Several mental and physical fitness challenges including meditation, cycling and squats were introduced to promote overall wellness. 

The manufacturer also planned to conduct its 10th edition of Coimbatore marathon on December 11 and more than 1700 employees and their family members were expected to participate in the marathon.  All the proceeds from the marathon support the Coimbatore cancer foundation in its efforts to spread cancer awareness among the people.
