Ozotec launches a new range of electric vehicles in Coimbatore

Coimbatore-based EV manufacturer Ozotec has launched an expanded range of electric vehicles, introducing two new variants of its flagship heavy-duty model “Bheem” and three new family-friendly scooter models. The launch event, held at KPR Institute of Technology, featured the unveiling by renowned scientist and former ISRO Director Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai.
With over two decades of expertise in motor design and control systems, Ozotec entered the electric vehicle sector in 2018. The company has already sold over 9,000 electric scooters in the Kongu region and is now expanding nationwide.
The new models come with advanced features, including i-Cool batteries, 1-hour fast charging, and ConZo GSM connectivity, enabling remote vehicle monitoring. Safety is a key focus, with fireproof LFP batteries featuring liquid cooling. The smart digital display provides battery status, temperature, and real-time travel range data.
For commercial users, Ozotec introduced:
Bheem – A rugged, all-metal heavy-duty vehicle with a 295 kg load capacity.
Bheem Lite – A lightweight version designed for speed and agility.
In the scooter segment, new models include:
Ultra – A sporty choice for young riders.
Neo – A retro-styled, modern scooter for all genders.
Max – Designed for comfort with extra seat space and storage.
Prices start at Rs.37,500, with premium variants featuring smart connectivity and fast charging from Rs.49,990. With financing options and an extended warranty, Ozotec aims to make EV ownership more accessible, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable mobility in India.
