Plea to create Internal Complaint cell for Women Workers

Erode Corporation All SHG Daily Wage Workers Union  President Gunasekaran, Secretary Pravin and treasurer P Saranya submitted a petition to the Corporation Commissioner Sivakumar appealed to constitute internal complaint cell  to protect women workers.

They said that ''women are in all fields but they feel insecure in the work spots. Though the Constitution asserted all are equal before law, it passed separate Acts for women and child protection under Article 15(3) and they were in force. 
Article 14 and 15 also wanted to ensure the rights of people to live with equality and social justice. Article 21 insisted how women should be treated with dignity and decorum in public places. 

As per the Constitution, internal complaint cell should be constituted under the prevention of sexual harassment Act 2013 to protect women in work spots. So,  it is must to constitute internal complaint cell for the SHG women workers in the Corporation. 

They pleaded to the Commissioner to consider the plea of workers without delay. 
The union sent a copy of the petition to the Collector H Krishnanunni. Union functionaries Dilip, Harisudan and Babu accompanied them.
