Police intelligence chief transferred

The state intelligence chief S Davidson Devasirvatham has been transferred and posted as the additional director of police headquarters on Tuesday. He was replaced by IGP KA Senthil Velan.  A complaint was registered against the police officials regarding his involvement in the fake passport scam when he served as the Madurai police city commissioner.  Based on a complaint, the union government had directed the state government to inquire into the allegation. The official is likely to be questioned soon.
