India and China have been at loggerheads for the past few years. The situation further worsened after the Galwan clash. Not only with India but also with almost all the countries of the world starting with America, China is on a collision course. Due to this, many countries are dissatisfied with China.
However, many countries in the world have maintained a calm approach towards China. Because they depended on China for manufacturing. Especially China is the leading country in the mobile manufacturing market. Even Apple was completely dependent on China for its iPhone production. However, during the Corona virus pandemic period, tech companies have realized that relying on a single country for mobile manufacturing is dangerous.
As a result, Apple has started taking various steps to increase iPhone production in India. India's iPhone exports have crossed $1 billion in the last five months alone. It is expected to reach 2.5 billion dollars by March next year.Even though the overall iPhone production in India is very low, the Union government is taking several steps to increase iPhone production. Prime Minister Modi is taking various measures to end China's dominance in the mobile phone manufacturing market.
The central government announced a huge incentive scheme in 2020 to promote mobile phone assembling in India. Taking advantage of this, Apple manufacturers have ramped up iPhone production. However, comparatively now only 30 lakh iPhones are manufactured in India. At the same time, 23 crore iPhones are produced in China.Even if we have a long way to go to catch up with China in this sector, we are starting to move in the right direction, experts say.
Apart from mobile phones, India has also announced concessions for manufacturing tablets and laptops. Through this we can become an alternative to China in the electronic market.
It was Prime Minister Modi who created this environment and made India stand on its head in mobile phone production. Let's praise him and wish him to continue such work!
