Prizes distributed to winners of carol competition

Prizes were distributed to the winners of Sing for Joy, a week-long Christmas Carol singing competition conducted by Wisteria Global for choir groups of schools, colleges and private organisations, at the Nirmala College for Women here on Saturday. Over 40 choir groups from Coimbatore, The Nilgiris and Erode districts participated in the competition in which the winners were chosen by a panel of judges. Prizes were given away to the winners by Ms. Leema Rose Martin, Mr. Chella Raghavendran, Mr. Charles Fabien, Mr. Victor Daniel, Mr. Sajji Mathew and Mr. Nitin. The following were the winners: Stanes CBSE School (schools category), Nirmala College for Women (colleges) and CSI All Souls Church Junior Choir (private organisations).
