Rains not hit farmers: CM

Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that although the rains continue in Tamil Nadu, there is no harm to the farmers.
He congratulated the bride and groom by participating in the wedding reception of the family of Erode South District DMK Deputy Secretary A. Senthilkumar's at Mettukadai near Erode on Thursday evening.
He said'' When the DMK regime was established, the deadly disease Corona was existed. When we recovered from it, everywhere in Tamil Nadu it rained continuously. 

In 1996, it rained continuously for 10 days from the day after I took over as the Mayor of Chennai. Similarly, it is still raining. Due to our luck, there will be no shortage of drinking water. But if there is no reformed marriage today, it is surprising.

The reason for this is that when Anna took over as the Chief Minister in 1967, he ordered that reformed marriages would go according to law. Farmers are not affected due to continuous rain in Tamil Nadu. We have created a healthy situation where there is no shortage of drinking water.
