Rajinikanth fans in Coimbatore are celebrating enthusiastically as the much-anticipated film "Vettaiyan" was released today. Directed by Gnanavel and starring a stellar cast including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and Fahadh Faazil, the movie had its first screening at 9 a.m. across Tamil Nadu.
In Coimbatore, fans gathered at various theatres, celebrating their superstar’s latest release with traditional rituals. 
They performed milk abhishegam (pouring milk) on Rajinikanth's film banner and conducted coconut and pumpkin camphor offerings. The excitement extended beyond the rituals, as fans burst firecrackers and danced energetically to the beats of drums, making it a festive atmosphere at the 
theatres. The film's release has brought a wave of joy to Rajinikanth's loyal fanbase in the region.
