Ramraj cotton company on Wednesday opened its 275th showroom at the Lakshmi Mills compound on Avinashi road in the city. The showroom was inaugurated by educationist Krishnaraj Vanavarayar and the first sales was commenced by S Pathi, chairman and managing director of the Lakshmi mills company limited.
The first purchase was made by Vanitha Mohan, managing trustee of Siruthuli and vice-chairman of Pricol groups. Former minister Pongalur S Palanisamy, Marabin Manithan Muthaiah, deputy mayor Vetriselvan and others attended the event.
The former minister released ‘Gandhiyai Kondaduvom’ book and it was received by Adhithya Pathy of the Lakshmi mills. KR Nagarajan, founder and chairman and Aswin, managing director of Ramraj cotton welcomed the gathering.
The company has recently launched anti-bacterial dhotis to protect from bacterial and viral infections. All their products are made from soft cotton fabrics.
