Rotary organises cricket match for Diffables

Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, parented by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy has organized Gaalaxy Premier League, a tri-series cricket tournament for specially-abled players from the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Jharkhand.

The Gaalaxy Premier League was organised on the 26th and 27th of August 2023 at Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Malumichampatti. Mr. Suriyaprakash, President of TNPCCA(Tamil Nadu Physically Challenged Cricket Association), Rtn. A. Godwin, Rotaract District Advisor, RI District 3201, and Mr. Mathivaanan from Steel Fabs attended the inaugural event. Table toppers were awarded with trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and also provided a welfare fund of Rs. 5000/- to each team. Mr. Guruswamy, former TNCA Senior Selector and  Mentor for Nellai Royals Team, TNPL, and Mrs. Shanthi, Deputy Collector attended the valedictory.
