Safe Diwali Awareness programme

Students of Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode, arranged 'Safe Diwali Awareness' programme at the college. In the ceremony, the correspondent of the college Mr. PD Thangavel and Principal Dr N. Raman spoke on safety aspects to be followed during Diwali. Students dressed in new clothes, performed pooja to Goddess Lakshmi, sang bhajans, lit lamps, burst fireworks.

 They celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm. Also, various heads of departments, professors and non-teaching staff participated in the ceremony. The arrangements were made by the HoD of Hindi and Other Languages, Dr. V. Anbumani.
