'Next 25 years is the Age of Transformation'

We all are living in a significant period of the Indian History today. In 2047, we will  celebrate centenary of Independence. By that time, India has to be the Vishwa Guru, The Global 
Leader. Hence the next 25 years will be an Age of Transformation for India, expressed Union Minister of State for External Affairs V.Muraleedharan at a special interactive session organized at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology on Thursday.

He spoke on the theme 'India's Success Story in Foreign Policy in PM Modi's Era'.
The event had the participation of BJP's Tamil Nadu President K.Annamalai as the Guest of Honor. It was presided by S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson & Managing Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions. At the end of the event,  K.Adithya, Trustee, proposed  the Vote of Thanks.

Highlighting some of the achievements of PM Modi, the Minister mentioned that we are in the 9th year of 
PM-Modi led government, and as of now India is the 5th largest economy, and in the next few years, it will be the 3rd largest .India has the 3rd best and largest startup ecosystem in the world. 

With regards to 
foreign relations, he mentioned that people who went from India to Reunion Islands, a French Territory some six generations ago approached him to consider them as people of Indian Origin. (Only 4 generation-history is taken as per rules to evaluate a person as a person of Indian-Origin)The Minister said he was approached by them to see if the rules could be changed. He expressed that he considers this to be a credit to PM Modi’s governance that people want to be known as Indian, they want to claim their heritage.
