SC order to be submitted to EC shortly: EPS

The SC order upholding the July 11 general council meeting of AIADMK would be submitted to the EC  for further action said former CM Edapadi K Palanisamy. The party functionaries offered him rousing reception at a private guest house at Villarasampatti Erode on Thursday evening as a mark of celebrating the SC verdict.

Later, talking to newsmen, he said that the verdict torn off the masks of betrayers who waited to destroy AIADMK founded by late MGR for poor people. On the footsteps of MGR and Jayalalithaa the party would be run for the welfare of the people.

Development works

He said the AIADMK has carried out various development works for the state including many schemes in Erode East segment. So, the bypoll candidate KS Thennarasu would get massive victory there.  The DMK  which did not do anything for the people for the past 21 months confined voters in election depots like cattle with providing money briyani etc.  By this way it spoiled democracy.

If voters are not freed, AIADMK would stage a massive stir,  he warned. Though many complaints were lodged in this regard, Election Commission did not take any action, he rued.
