Seminar on digital business era

The Department of Commerce of VET Institute of Arts and science (Co-education) College, Erode has conducted an International Virtual Seminar on Digital Business Era- Opportunities and Challenges.  College Secretary S.D.Chandrasekar presided.

 Principal, Dr.R.Saravanan, Administrative Officer, S.Logesh Kumar, and faculty members of Commerce were present.  The session speakers were   Dr.Eswaramoorthi Rangasamy, Principal & Provost, Amity Global Institute, Singapore, spoke on Opportunities & Challenges in Digitalization,  Dr.Dhamayanthi Arumugam, Senior Lecturer, Asia Pacific University, Malaysia, on AI in Business, Dr.Nithya Ramachandran, Faculty of Account of finance, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Libra (UTAS - Libra), Sultanate of Oman on Digitalization in Finance Accounting and Dr.Sharan Kumar Shetty, Associate Professor & Governing Body, MSN Institute of Management, Mangaluru on Digitalization in Higher Education.

 The 3rd and 4th sessions were  handled by Dr.Vinoth S Associate Professor, Jain Deemed to be University, Bangalore & Dr. D. Karthika, Associate Professor of the college on April 20 and 21 respectively. 
The speakers spoke on the opportunities and challenges faced by the business men in the digital business era and gave few tips about how to find out the bottleneck and shoot out the problems. The sessions focus  on the emerging trends in the digitalized world.  617 students got benefit.
