Shree Ram Proteins Ltd to set up oil processing plant in Russia

NSE (SRPL) listed company Shree Ram Proteins Ltd has announced major diversification plans whereby it is setting up sunflower oil manufacturing unit at Russia, Tambov Region, Kotovsk.

Shree Ram Proteins Ltd  is involved in manufacturing of de-oiled cotton seed cake and other related products, amongst very few manufacturers of this product in India. According to an official communication from the company all requisite statutory approvals and also taken land on Lease for 99 years.

Sunflower oil unit will have a capacity of processing 500 tons per day of Raw Material (Sunflower Husk having capacity of 100 tons per day, Sunflower Meal- 200 tons per day, Sunflower Oil 200 Tons Per Day). 

The total estimated Capital Expenditure for diversifying its operations will be approx. Rs. 150 crores and this investment will be contributed through internal accruals. The entire project is slated to be operational by December 2024
