Signature campaign to ensure cent percent polling

Tirupur LS Returning Officer / District Collector T Krishtraj inaugurated a signature drive to raise awareness about the need for differently abled people to vote in  the Parliamentary General Election-2024 at the Collectorate on Friday.

In order to emphasize 100 percent voting in the parliamentary general elections in the district, awareness programs are being conducted daily. 

A short film about the necessity of 100 percent voting in the elections is being shown to the public daily in the corporation, municipality, and panchayat union areas through the state-of-the-art electronic video vehicle of the Department of Publicity and Information. As part of that campaign, the Collector inaugurated the signature campaign. 

District Revenue Officer Mr. D. P. Jaibeem, District Social Welfare Officer Mrs. Ranjitadevi, District Disabled Welfare Officer Mr. Vasantha Ramkumar, District Employment Officer Mr. Suresh and related Election Officers participated.
