SIMATS Engineering signs MoU with Roche Products for student internships

In a significant step forward for academia-industry partnerships, SIMATS Engineering, the engineering unit of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Roche Products (India) Pvt. Ltd. (RPIPL), a prominent subsidiary of the global Roche Group. 

The MoU signing ceremony, held at the Roche premises, was graced by the presence of Dr. T.R.B. Rajaa, the esteemed Minister for Industries of Tamil Nadu. Dr. T.R.B. Rajaa, congratulated the partnership, and highlighted the significance of such collaborations for the broader development of Tamil Nadu. 

"Academia and industry alliances like these not only uplift the education system but also reinforce the state's reputation as a hub for innovation and talent," remarked the respected Chancellor of SIMATS Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. B. Ramesh, Principal of SIMATS Engineering expressed his enthusiasm saying, "This collaboration with Roche Products is a testament to our commitment towards enhancing the professional development of our SIMATS students.”

Roche Products (India) also expressed their keen interest in tapping into the bright minds at SIMATS Engineering. A representative from Roche commented, "Young engineers bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the table. This initiative is an excellent opportunity for both Roche and SIMATS students to learn, grow, and create meaningful impacts."
